It is truly remarkable.

Non vaccinated people are passing away in droves. 99.5% of all virus deaths are non- vaccinated people.

An old saying is that some people don’t have enough sense to come in out of the rain. That certainly applies in this case. The non-vaccinated deaths are also heavier among Republicans. That this political party has so deteriorated from any intellectual norm of competency is astounding.

A two party system needs always the loyal opposition to the actual party in power. This moment in time that does not exist. Any protest that Republicanism today reflects a conservative viewpoint is not justifiable by facts. It is about some kind of twisted form of thinking.

I wrote recently that I thought anyone who does not get vaccination is endangering all the rest of us. That is true. It has nothing to do with politics. It has to do with a large mass of people in America, at least about 33 million apparently, who do not in any way shape or form understand science, but confuse it with ideology – which is essentially its opposite.

Someone wrote an opinion piece recently stating he thinks Biden may mandate vaccinations. If so, that would not be a political statement. That would be a rational act. That would enforce a scientific solution to safeguard all of us.

Might it spark a civil war? I doubt that. 2/3 of the public understands vaccination. They also voted Biden in. Were it ever to come to a real standoff between the two sides, I think the American people would stand with science.

Perhaps we’ll see.
