FROM MY CORNER: The Ritzy Small Business Scam

Howell Hurst American News, Corporate Avarice, Economy & Finance, People Politics

The financial holding company that manages the Ritz Carlton ultra-luxury hotels plus several other hotel lines just took millions of dollars of the small business federal bailout funds.Thousands of small businesses have been refused funds.

Not only Ritz Carlton, but many other big business companies received funds. What do you call it when the federal government votes for billions of dollars allegedly dedicated to aid small business and gives it to big business?

It is called a scam, a con, deception. It is carried out right before our eyes and buried under so much other big business and government “news” that it goes practically unreported by radio, TV, Internet, and newspapers.

The collaboration and alliance between America’s government and big business is undoubtedly the most comprehensive socialistic financial scheme running in our supposed capitalist economy.

An utterly brazen confidence game that repeats itself continuously, it is masterfully accomplished by big business and government. It comes from both sides of the aisle. Even the Democrats, whose house of representatives signs off on the deal, do not prevent it happening.

If this is not a totally non-functional government we have on our hands, what would constitute one? What definition can one give to our government that somehow keeps the American public so silently mesmerized while robbing them?

Where does the blame originate? In big business? With the Senators and Representatives? The media? The American people? It has gotten to be such a comprehensive con so cleverly run that one is utterly at a loss for words to define what it is.

The Ritz Carlton being bailed out in this pandemic with funds designated for small business. Thousands, tens of thousands, possibly millions of real small businesses unable to obtain the funds voted for them. It is outright legalized theft.

Several million small business owners and now-unemployed low-income Americans are certain to be seriously damaged by this situation, while having had no ability to prevent the scam that will have taken them down.

Is this what your and my tax dollars get us? Is this it? This is neither capitalism nor democracy. This is going to continue as long as we let it. What is it going to take for the American people to create the means to combat this?

That is not a rhetorical question.
